We will be having an Upper Elementary Passage to Adolescence Ceremony on Thursday, June 10th, at 1:30pm. This will be an in-person outdoor event to celebrate our transitioning students and the completion of their time in Upper Elementary. Our Adolescent students will also be present at a safe distance to welcome their new transitioning classmates.
All the Crested Owl students are invited. Those that are in-person and comfortable with it will automatically be able to attend as it is during the school day, and those that are studying remotely are also invited to support their peers in-person if they are comfortable doing so. We can seat them at a safe distance.
Only families of transitioning students have been invited to attend. Due to safety measures, we sadly cannot include families of our other students. Though we cannot serve snacks or do things as we normally would do, we are looking forward to a beautiful and meaningful ceremony to celebrate these special children as they move into a whole new phase of life.
Families of Transitioning students please arrive at 1pm so that you have time to park on the street and walk up to the office to check in and be screened. The ceremony will be held at 1:30pm on the patio where the children usually eat lunch.
Remote-learning students should also arrive at 1pm on that day. Please walk your child through the gate and up to the office to be screened and signed in. Please return for pick up which is from 2:45pm to 3pm. You can pick up in the circular driveway as part of the regular pickup line.
