Toddler Assistant - Spotted Owls
Xiaojiao has been working in the education field since 2014. She holds a bachelor’s degree in science. She became a k-5 science teacher in an international school after she received her master’s degree in agriculture in China. During this time, Xiaojiao carried out science experiments, after-school courses, and created small science fairs.
After she moved to LA and had children, Xiaojiao started to learn the Montessori philosophy. She attended the AMI Assistants to Infancy Teacher Training Course at the Montessori Institute of San Diego and received her AMI diploma in 2022.
A prepared environment is as important as a prepared adult, so after she completed her teaching practice at Oak Knoll Montessori School, she realized that the school focuses on every detail of Montessori pedagogy and she is excited to be a part of it.
Xiaojiao enjoys working with the smallest children. With her patience, enthusiasm, and sense of responsibility, she tries to help the children to develop to their full potential and be themselves.
Xiaojiao likes hikeing, reading books, listening to music, and watching movies. She loves sewing and spending time with her family and friends.
